Anas Aremeyaw Anas and The New Crusading Guide have been awarded the 2016-10th KCK Award for Excellence in Journalism at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi India.

Anas was given the award for his story “Anas floors Derry” from his expose in judicial corruption in Ghana in 2016.
Anas’ representative, Mr. Sameer Tembe, picked up a cheque for $11,000 from the award organisers.

This the second time Anas and The New Crusading Guide have been given this award, having won the 3rd KCK Award in 2011.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Ian Yee won the 2017-KCK Award for his story on “Students Trafficked.”
The KCK award commemorates the high ideals of Sh Karpoor Chand Kulish, the founder of the Rajastan Patrika Group (estd. 1956)-organisers of the award- by recognising outstanding efforts of the journalists working in newspapers globally towards promoting the rights and freedom of the people for better quality of life.
