The High Commission of India has marked the International Non Violence Day in Accra on Sunday, 1st October, 2017 with a walk and donation at the 37 Military Hospital.

The day was marked with a walk from the Residence of the Indian High Commissioner to the 37 Military Hospital where some items were donated to the hospital before the participants walked back to the High Commissioner’s Residence.

The International Day of Non-Violence is marked on 2 October, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, leader of the Indian independence movement and pioneer of the philosophy and strategy of non-violence.
