Who we are?
Liquid Sports Ghana is a Ghanaian based website which aims to promote sports on the African continent, and using sports as a tool for development.
One of the ways in which we use the power of sports for development is by organising events geared towards empowering the youth.
By using sport as a tool to educate and empower young students, we aim to foster young people’s interest and understanding of the importance of combining education and sports, inspire them to be responsible citizens and play an active role in sharing what they have learned with their communities.
Liquid Sports Ghana’s “Making it Happen” seminar is a mentorship programme to inspire, educate and motivate students to combine their schooling and sports to achieve their goals in life.
To achieve our aim, we organise an interactive programme for the students involving national sports icons who tell their stories of hard work, determination, education and sports to succeed in their chosen fields of sports.
The LSG team visited Accra Academy, Labone Senior High School and Presec Boys Secondary School in Accra.
