National heptathlon queen Elizabeth Dadzie produced a stellar performance to clinch the Conference USA heptathlon crown with a lifetime best 5823points at El Paso, Texas, USA.

Elizabeth’s score is also a new C-USA heptathlon record and 377 points less than the 2017 IAAF World Championships qualifying mark of 6200 points.

Significantly, the 2014 African heptathlon silver medalist produced three personal best performances in the long jump (6.34m), high jump (1.67m) and shot put (11.67m) during the two-day event.

Dadzie, a former student of T. I. Amass Senior High School in Kumasi, has made some significant progress in the combined events ever since moving to the USA on a GAA sourced scholarship in 2013.

She has improved in all the six disciplines including the high jump, long jump, 100m hurdles, javelin, 800m and the shot put.

Her latest feat is also an improvement over the 5286 points she achieved when winning silver at the 2014 African Athletics Championships.

She still has some improvements to make and to go within touching distance of the 2017 IAAF World Championships qualifying mark of 6200 points.

Below are her individual results:

800m

2:23.26 El Paso (USA) 12.05.2017
100mH 13.47 +1.6 El Paso (USA) 11.05.2017
