Liquid Sports Ghana has released the first draft of its list of the ‘Greatest Ghanaian Athletes of All Time’ as earlier advertised.

The list was compiled with data from athletics tracking website tilastopaja, tbe World Athletics website and data from the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA).

Some of the performances stretches as far back as 1964 while there is also recent data from the last GAA Circuit Championships held at the Essipon Stadium at Sekondi-Takoradi.

We hope to update the list as and when we are able to find more data to support this course.

We must stress this is not the final list as we are trying to verify data we have received from other sources before publication.

This is the more reason we need to compile this list which we hope would be accepted both locally and internationally.

Through this project, we aim to celebrate, highlight the achievements of our athletes to inspire generations born and unborn to aspire to achieve greater heights and win laurels for Ghana.

The story is just beginning……..
